Well, the girls had a great day at the Peter Island Spa Resort, they came back all beautified and relaxed… they even got to meet Conrad, a bit of a local legend on Peter Island!  He lives in a small place just off the beach in Great Harbour and walks the beach all day long helping out anyone who needs help, directions, a tour, etc… He is such a content older man that he just sits on the back of his beached boat most of the day and listens for approaching dinghies from the anchored boats… he knows every inch of his island and can show you anywhere you want to go… even though he is completely blind!  He was so friendly, even helped Terri with tying up the boat when she landed with the girls, and always holds the dinghy steady for you as you get set to leave the beach.  He’s a great fellow and we promised to come visit him again soon to take one of his tours through the sugar cane fields where you can even buy a bottle of rum!

After the girls were back on board we headed over to Jost Van Dyke where we were planning to have Terri and Tere’s birthday dinner.  Foxy’s is a really great bar/restaurant, we’ve been there many times before and have always enjoyed ourselves.  There was live entertainment this night, but everyone was feeling very tired… and relaxed, lol so we headed back to the boat fairly early after dinner.

We had lots of fun with ‘The Sophisticated Ladies’… oh, if we didn’t mention it, the girls all showed up wearing their own custom T-shirts with an embroidered sailboat with a sunset and ‘Sophisticated Ladies 2006’ embroidered under it… we thought that was very cool!  They definitely lived up to their insignias, and we had a lot of fun showing them as many of our favorite spots in the BVI’s as we could squeeze in.  They seemed to have fun and we’ll look forward to hearing from all of them in future… thanks ladies, we’ll miss you!!
